At NSCAD University, we produce amazing creative and critical thinkers, driven to make a difference. We do so by stepping outside the classroom and into the community, touching people in tangible and lasting ways.

Collaborating and sharing knowledge is more than how we learn at NSCAD; it’s a long-held value. From students using creativity to tackle real-world, everyday issues to programs that bring the joy of artistic expression to new audiences, this desire to effect deep and lasting change defines the essence of NSCAD.

The following initiatives  enable the School of Extended Studies to bring NSCAD  into communities across Nova Scotia and for communities to reach into NSCAD.
