Jewellery’s proximity to the body and relationship with the surface of the skin lends itself to creating a dialogue between art and biology. 

I see the body as both the site and context for jewellery, the messenger and tool for understanding inner emotion.  I create visual and tactile representations of human emotions conceived in the brain and manifested on the skin.

Our common internal biological structures are sources of uncelebrated beauty and inspiration.  I construct jewellery pieces that feel real and alive; serving to remind us of the physicality of our bodies and the joy of our senses - a marriage between art and science.
